Botox

Starting at $10/unit

Learn more about Botox

  • Botox is the name everyone knows, but neuromodulators come in a few different forms. At Kindred I use Dysport, which works the same way - temporarily relaxing the facial muscles responsible for expression lines like crow's feet, frown lines, and forehead wrinkles. The treatment itself takes about 10-20 minutes with no downtime, and results typically appear within a few days and last 3–4 months.

Neuromodulators are one of the most common treatments I do - and one of my favourites. Done well and consistently over time, they're one of the most effective tools for aging gracefully on your own terms."

  • Smooths expression lines Botox/Dysport temporarily relaxes the muscles responsible for repeated facial movements - effectively softening existing lines around the forehead, eyes, and mouth and preventing new ones from deepening over time.

Preventative Starting neuromodulators before lines become deeply set is one of the most effective things you can do for long-term skin aging. Consistency matters more than starting young.

Quick with no downtime Treatment takes about 15 minutes. Some minor redness at the injection sites is normal but fades quickly - most people go straight back to their day.

Results that build over time A single treatment lasts 3–4 months, but the real benefit of neuromodulators is cumulative. Regular treatments over time train the muscles to relax, meaning results often last longer and look better the longer you've been doing it.

Health Canada approved Dysport is fully Health Canada approved and has a long, well-established safety record.

  • - If medically safe to do so, avoid medications that inhibit blood-clotting such as vitamin E, aspirin, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for seven days prior to treatment. Talk with your prescriber to see if this is safe for you to do.

    - Schedule your Botox/Dysport/Xeomin appointment at least 4 weeks prior to a special event, such as a wedding or vacation to allow for best results, for any potential bruising/swelling to subside and refinement where necessary.

    - As you prepare for your treatment, please notify your Kindred Aesthetics injector of any changes to your medical history, health status, and personal activities that may be relevant to your treatment.

    - Reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance if you do not feel well.

    DAY OF TREATMENT

    - Arrive at your appointment with a clean face that is makeup-free. You may apply makeup 4 hours after your treatment (please note, makeup is not permitted immediately after treatment.)

    - The procedure includes multiple fine needle injections and mild discomfort. Tenderness can last for a few hours or a few days.

    - Redness and swelling similar to a mosquito bite is normal for 5-15 minutes after treatment. Some mild bruising may also occur.

    - If any excessive swelling, bleeding or discoloration occurs after you return home from treatment, contact your Kindred Aesthetics Injector.

  • DOs

    - Expect some bruising, swelling or pinpoint bleeding to injection sites.

    - Some client's experience a mild headache after treatment. This generally only happens after your first treatment, and goes away in 2-3 days. You may take acetaminophen (Tylenol) if you experience a headache post injection.

    - Stay in an upright position for the first 4 hours after treatment.

    - Be patient as full results are in 2-3 weeks.

    - Schedule a follow up appointment in 2-3 weeks so we can evaluate your results.

    DON'Ts

    - Avoid massaging, or touching treated areas as we placed neurotoxin to target specific muscles. Massaging/touching the area may spread the botox to muscles we wanted to avoid.

    - Avoid lying down or bending down for the first 4 hours after treatment.

    - Avoid extreme exercise for 24 hours.

    - Avoid extreme heat (saunas, hot tubs, etc.) and extreme cold (ice baths,etc.).

    - Avoid getting facials or other beauty treatments to the face for 2 weeks after your appointment.

    FOLLOW-UP

    - A follow up appointment in 2-3 weeks is necessary to evaluate and document your individual results. Additional units of botox may be needed to achieve your desired results.

    - A follow up is important as we update your treatment plan by understanding if we reached your desired results and learn what we may consider trying (or avoiding) in future appointments.

You may begin to see effects in 3-5 days, however full results will be seen in 2-3 weeks.

Your muscles may feel mildly heavy, or appear slightly uneven as the botox is settling into your muscles.

At the 2-week mark, movement should feel more natural.

Filler

Starting at $375 for half a syringe

Learn more about Filler

  • Dermal filler is an injectable gel made from hyaluronic acid - a substance your body produces naturally - used to add volume, definition, and structure to the face. Common treatment areas include the lips, cheeks, chin, and jawline, though filler is versatile and can address a range of concerns.

Unlike neuromodulators, results are immediate. Treatment time varies depending on the area but is generally quick, and downtime is minimal - some swelling and bruising is normal, particularly with lip filler, but most people are back to their regular routine the same day.

At Kindred, filler is always approached conservatively. The goal is never to overhaul your face - it's to make considered, subtle additions that work with your features, not against them.

  • Volume and contour Filler restores lost volume and adds definition to areas like the lips, cheeks, jawline, and under-eyes — subtly reshaping without surgery.

Softens lines and folds Particularly effective for deeper lines around the mouth and cheeks where neuromodulators alone may not be enough.

Immediate results Unlike some treatments that take weeks to show, filler results are visible right away — with full settling typically within two weeks.

Long-lasting Depending on the area and product used, results last anywhere from 6–18 months.

Minimal downtime Most people are back to their normal routine the same day. Some swelling and bruising is normal, particularly with lip filler, and generally resolves within a few days.

Health Canada approved All filler used at Kindred is Health Canada approved.

  • Do not have Dermal Filler injected within 2 weeks of ANY dental procedure, this INCLUDES routine cleaning. This is due to the risk of bacterial migration that could lead to infection

    - Avoid medications that inhibit blood-clotting such as vitamin E, aspirin, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for seven days prior to treatment if medically safe to do so per your prescribing provider.

    - Schedule your treatment appointment at least 4-6 weeks prior to a special event, such as a wedding or vacation to allow for best results, for any potential bruising/ swelling to subside and refinement where necessary.

    - As you prepare for your treatment, please notify your Kindred Aesthetics Injector of any changes to your medical history, health status, and personal activities that may be relevant to your treatment.

    - Reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance if you do not feel well.

    - You may take acetaminophen/Tylenol for discomfort but continue to avoid blood thinning medications/ supplements and NSAIDS for 3 more days as allowed by your prescribing provider.

    - Stay hydrated.

    - Be patient, as best results are in 2-4 weeks after swelling has gone down and filler has settled into tissue.

    - For lip filler treatment: Be sure to keep your lips moisturized (you may only use the product provided by your Aesthetic Provider for the first 4 hours) and protect them from the sun (using SPF daily after the first 24 hours).

    - Redness and bruising are common and will subside.

    - Treated areas may feel painful, sore, tender, and lumpy in the first 2-4 weeks.

Lip Flip

Starting at $75

Learn more about Lip Flips

  • A lip flip is a great option for anyone who wants a slightly fuller upper lip without adding volume. Rather than using filler, a small amount of Dysport is injected into the muscles around the mouth, causing the upper lip to roll gently outward - the result is a more defined, slightly fuller looking lip that's still completely natural.

The injection itself takes under a minute, though your appointment will be about 20 minutes total - we apply a topical numbing cream beforehand and let it sit for 15 minutes to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. Results typically last 6-12 weeks, making it a nice low-commitment way to try something new.

  • Natural Enhancement
A lip flip offers a subtle yet beautiful enhancement to your lips using just a tiny bit of Botox. Instead of adding volume, it relaxes the muscles around the upper lip, causing it to curl upwards and create a fuller appearance.

    Defined Cupid's Bow
This treatment accentuates the Cupid's bow, giving your lips that sought-after definition.

    Minimally Invasive
Forget about the downtime of bigger procedures. A lip flip is quick, easy, and just involves a few little pokes. You can even book it during your lunch break.

  • 1 week before treatment:

    - Avoid Blood Thinners: If possible, stop taking NSAIDs (ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen) and blood-thinning supplements (fish oil, vitamin E, garlic, ginkgo biloba) at least 5-7 days prior, unless medically necessary.

    - Minimize Alcohol & Caffeine: These can thin the blood and may lead to increased bruising or bleeding.

    - Stay Hydrated: Proper hydration improves the recovery process.

    - Avoid dental work and vaccinations within 2 weeks of appointment to decrease risk of infection and allergic reactions.

    DAY OF TREATMENT

    - Stay hydrated: Drink water throughout the day to help with healing.

    - Eat something beforehand: Having a light meal can help prevent lightheadedness and nausea.

    - Keep skin clear: Arrive with clean skin and avoid wearing makeup around the injection site (lips).

    - Continue to Avoid NSAIDs: Do not take ibuprofen or aspirin before the procedure.

  • What can you expect after treatment:

    • Mild inflammation, redness, and swelling for a few hours – these are common reactions to any injection procedure.

    • Any bumps will typically resolve within a few hours post-treatment.

    • It is normal to feel firmness in the injection site for a few days after the lip flip; this sensation will soften over time.

    • To maintain results, it is advisable to consider lip flip treatments every 3-6 months, based on individual response.

Microneedling

Starting at $350 for a single treatment

Learn more about Microneedling

  • Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that works with your skin’s natural healing process to improve overall texture, tone, and skin quality. Using a specialized device, tiny controlled micro-channels are created in the skin. This process stimulates collagen production and encourages gradual skin renewal over time.

The result is healthier, more resilient skin that continues to improve in the weeks following treatment. With minimal downtime and customizable options, microneedling is a versatile treatment suited to a wide range of skin concerns.

For enhanced results, microneedling can also be combined with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) - often referred to as the “Vampire Facial” - to further support healing, collagen production, and overall skin rejuvenation.

  • Microneedling is designed to improve the overall look and feel of your skin in a natural, progressive way. Benefits may include:

    • Smoother, more refined skin texture

    • Reduction in fine lines and early signs of aging

    • Improved appearance of acne scarring

    • More even skin tone and reduced hyperpigmentation

    • Minimized appearance of pores

    • Brighter, more radiant complexion

Results build gradually over time, making it an ideal option for those looking for subtle, long-term skin improvement.

As your skin heals, you’ll notice gradual improvements in tone, texture, and overall radiance. A series of 3-6 treatments - spaced 4-6 weeks apart - is typically recommended for best results.

  • • Avoid sun exposure/burns 24 hours prior to procedure.

    • Discontinue use of retinoids 24 hours prior to procedure.

    • Allow at least 24 hours after autoimmune therapies.

    • Wait six months following isotretinoin use (Accutane).

  • • Skin may feel tight and sensitive post-treatment, similar to a mild sunburn.

Same Day: Apply ONLY gentle cleanser + moisturizer (fragrance-free).

Next Day: Apply moisturizer & mineral SPF to help soothe, hydrate, and protect the skin.

    • Use ONLY approved products recommended by your skincare expert to promote best results and avoid irritation.

    • Avoid direct sun exposure and excessive heat. Skin is now freshly resurfaced and prone to sun damage.

    • Avoid Ibuprofen for the next 24 hrs.

    • Wear at least an SPF 30+ daily starting following day. Must use mineral SPF to ensure no adverse reaction.

    • Sleep on clean pillowcases (& if you are acne-prone - avoid using fabric softener in dryer, as it leaves a waxy residue on fabric)

    • Don’t participate in aerobic exercise for 24–48 hours.

    • Avoid makeup for 24 hours. If you must use makeup within the first 24 hours, please only use a 100% pure mineral powder makeup.

    • Avoid touching your treated skin unnecessarily. If you must ensure your hands are clean. Use prescribed home care products consistently and as directed to achieve optimal results.

PRP Therapy

Starting at $375 for a single treatment

Learn more about PRP

  • PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy uses your body's own healing response to rejuvenate skin, restore hair, and address under-eye concerns. The process starts with a small blood draw - we then spin it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets, which are rich in the growth factors responsible for tissue repair and collagen production. That concentrated plasma is then injected back into the treatment area.

It sounds more intense than it is. The appointment takes about an hour from start to finish, and while there's some redness and swelling afterward, most people are back to normal within a day or two.

At Kindred, PRP is available for three areas: skin rejuvenation, under-eye rejuvenation, and hair restoration. It's a good option for anyone looking for a more natural approach - no foreign substances, just your own biology doing the work."

  • Your own biology doing the work PRP uses your body's own platelet-rich plasma to stimulate collagen production and tissue repair - no foreign substances, no synthetics.

Improved skin texture and tone Effective for addressing uneven texture, dullness, fine lines, and acne scarring by triggering your skin's natural regeneration process.

Under-eye rejuvenation One of the more unique applications of PRP - the under-eye area is notoriously difficult to treat with other methods, and PRP can improve hollowness, discolouration, and crepiness in that area.

Hair restoration PRP injected into the scalp strengthens existing hair follicles and stimulates new growth - a well-established option for those experiencing thinning or early hair loss.

Minimal downtime Some redness and swelling immediately after treatment is normal and typically resolves within a day or two.

Results that improve over time PRP isn't an instant fix - results develop gradually over several weeks as collagen production increases, and are often best with a series of treatments.

    - Stay Hydrated: Proper hydration improves blood draw and enhances the quality of the plasma or fibrin.

    - Eat a Nutrient-Dense Diet: Increase intake of leafy greens, citrus fruits, lean proteins, and healthy fats to support strong platelet function.

    24-48 hours before treatment:

    - No Alcohol or Caffeine: These can cause dehydration and impact platelet quality.

    - Avoid Heavy Exercise: Strenuous activity can cause inflammation, which may impact platelet function.

    - Drink Plenty of Water: Aim for at least 2-3 liters of water the day before to facilitate the blood draw.

    - Get a Good Night’s Sleep: Rest supports optimal platelet function and healing.

    DAY OF TREATMENT

    - Eat a Healthy Meal: Have a protein-rich meal before your appointment to avoid lightheadedness during or after the blood draw.

    - Wear Comfortable Clothing: If treating the scalp, wear a button-up or zip-up top to avoid pulling clothing over the head.

    - No Makeup (for Facial Treatments): Arrive with clean skin if PRP/PRF is being used for facial rejuvenation (e.g., microneedling, injections).

    - Continue to Avoid NSAIDs: Do not take ibuprofen or aspirin before the procedure.

    FOLLOW-UP & RESULTS

    - Typically, results are seen after the third treatment.

    - We recommend an initial series of 5-6 treatments for hair, and 3-4 treatments for face, administered at 4-6 week intervals.

    - To maintain results, it is recommended to repeat treatment every 3-6 months, depending on the individual’s response.

Chemical Peel

Starting at $175 for a single treatment

Learn more about Chemical Peels

  • The Vivier Jessner Peel is a medical-grade chemical peel that exfoliates the outer layers of skin to improve texture, tone, and clarity. It's effective for addressing concerns like uneven pigmentation, fine lines, acne scarring, and dullness - essentially resetting the surface of your skin.

The treatment itself takes about 30 minutes. In the days following your peel you'll experience some peeling and flaking as your skin sheds and regenerates - this is normal and expected, and the end result is noticeably smoother, brighter skin.

A few things worth knowing going in: you'll want to avoid active exfoliants for about a week beforehand, and SPF is non-negotiable afterward. Fresh post-peel skin is more vulnerable to sun damage, so this is one treatment where your Vivier SPF earns its keep.

  • Improved texture Smooths rough patches, fine lines, and uneven surface texture for visibly softer skin.

Brighter, more even tone Targets pigmentation, sun damage, and discolouration to leave skin clearer and more balanced.

Acne and blemish reduction Unclogs pores and helps reduce breakouts and post-acne marks over time.

Collagen stimulation Beyond the surface, chemical peels trigger your skin's repair response — stimulating collagen production for improved firmness and elasticity with repeated treatments.

Minimal downtime Some peeling and redness in the days following treatment is normal and expected. Most people are back to their regular routine within a few days.

  • (7-10 days before appointment)

    - Cease application of all topical retinoids, benzo's or Vitamin A derivative products.

    - Cease use of all Glycolic or chemical exfoliants.

    - Cease use of all mechanical exfoliants, such as scrubs.

    - Avoid facial waxing.

    - Avoid sun exposure without a sunscreen of SPF 30 or greater. Avoid tanning beds.

    - If you are PRONE TO COLD SORES, it is recommended to contact your physician for antiviral medications to avoid a post treatment breakout.  You would begin prophylaxis 2 DAYS PRIOR to treatment and continue for 5 days post treatment.

    - If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your Kindred Aesthetics practitioner.

  • Sun protection is essential: Your skin will be more vulnerable to the sun, increasing the risk of sunburn.

    • Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ every 2 hours if exposed to sunlight.

    • Wear a wide-brim hat and avoid direct sun exposure.

    • Avoid artificial tanning devices and heat sources (e.g., saunas, hot showers).
